MOOC Travel

Over the last few years, university has changed. Instructors now have their best classes broadcast on the internet, reaching unprecedented numbers of listeners around the globe. Led by a few pioneers, this new way of education is enjoying
exponential growth. Hundreds of thousands of students from all four corners of the world are fuelling this growth with improvements and new ideas all the time.

We took a group of online course participants on a trip together with a world-famous Yale scholar, whose lectures they had followed online. Very  much a pilot project, this trip was an all-round success, an experience to remember, and it paved the way for many future projects.

The so-called Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC) are all featured on the internet platform Coursera.org. Check them out!
